Concept Creation, for Studio Lavica, means developing an idea and completing it in all its details. An exciting challenge, which in the case of Pitamaki Restaurant was born as a project for a Japanese-Brazilian restaurant that for the first time sees the light in the Ragusa area.

In his role as Concept Creator , Lavica has conceived and shaped the 70 square meters of this restaurant, located in the tourist port of Marina di Ragusa. Starting from the conception of the name and logo and from the identification of the visual and brand identity, Lavica has built a creative path enriched with graphic contents and the creation of packaging, interior and exterior design, with furnishings and finishes.

Concept Creation: compositional and stylistic consultancy.
All this, as a crowning achievement, of a general compositional and stylistic consultancy.
The origin of the name Pitamaki lies in the fusion of pitaya and temakeria. The pitaya, also called “dragon fruit” is a tropical fruit that plays a pivotal role in Brazilian cuisine and is also the source of inspiration for all areas of the project.

Here, then, inside the space we find a printed resin that represents the inside of the dragon fruit. The leading color is green, stolen from one of the external veins of the fruit. The atmosphere pulsates with bright colors in symbiosis with the culinary culture of the place. To create a strong impact contrast, the presence of steel stands out. Steel evokes an atmosphere with futuristic lines and is at the same time an excellent material for the care and hygiene of the kitchen environment. Furthermore, to enlarge the spaces and give greater airiness to the small size of the environment, the ceiling was covered with mirrors.

Through the Concept Creation, the use of atypical materials and furnishings for a fusion restaurant and the attention to all the details in every corner of the environment, Lavica’s goal was to create a place outside the box.

Able to arouse the customer’s curiosity and interest on an aesthetic and cultural level as well as strictly gastronomic.
