LICCUMIA in the Ragusa dialect means, good, to be tasted.

From the idea of Sicilian PA Chef and his desire to create a format linked to the traditions of the past in a modern key.

The grandmother of P. Was, like most of the Sicilian women, an ace in the kitchen and above all in the preparation of typical dishes … but above all skilled in the processing of homemade pasta. Thus LICCUMIA embraces all that is typical cuisine de-thought and \ or re-elaborated under the hands of the chef. The latter, together with the entrepreneur AS, create LICCUMIA lab, which aims solely at the development of the pasta factory.

So LICCUMIA, the main brand, incorporates LICCUMIA LAB.

LAVICA suggests expanding the LICCUMIA family by adding, in addition to LICCUMIA LAB, also LICCUMIA CHEF (personal chef for small luxury events) and LICCUMIA class (service aimed at cooking class) The concept devised by LAVICA was to maintain the umbilical cord between past and present, translated into a brand. Thus the past is represented by the gentle and elegant lines of the logo font and the present through an extrapolation of the logo with the addition of an icon, which is broken down according to the various services and reassembled.

Metaphorically: how the grandmother embodies the ideal of the united family (LICCUMIA and its logo), the grandchildren who sometimes drift away but are always part of the family (these are the various services’ A LAB \ ‘A CHEF ‘ A CLASS) The colors of the palette are a further emphasis to this concept. The gray that recalls the black and white and therefore the antiquity, the vivid yellow, the future.For LICCUMIA, LAVICA created naming, logo, icons, branding, pattern, visual identity and consultancy.
