Structural extension and interior design of a villa in Cannes
A design villa in Cannes, capable of offering the comfort of a five-star hotel without betraying an intimate and welcoming home feeling. The renovation project of this splendid Provençal villa in Cannes comes from the desire of the owner, a driver always traveling the world, to feel at home without giving up the luxury of a large hotel.
The villa is surrounded by lush vegetation, the interior of the house must be able to meet the expectations of such particular outdoor spaces.
This project involved LAVICA in the round and saw us engaged not only in architectural renovation but also in interior design, personal shopping, construction management and the purchase and set up of soft decorations.
Expanding spaces with sobriety and elegance
LAVICA has taken care, where possible, of expanding the spaces bringing the property from 140 square meters to 180 square meters, has redesigned the entire ground floor, taking advantage of every inch of space.
In the living area he has obtained a guest bathroom from a former wardrobe, open space kitchen, dining area with a view facing out towards the pool and garden. The master bedroom has an extra eight square meters in which LAVICA has set an elegant and functional bathroom, surrounded by two openings with a panoramic view on the sides of the house.
At the base of every choice there is an elegant and refined sobriety that does not give up on the wow factors scattered throughout the large rooms of the house.
LAVICA has enlarged the daughter’s room, so as to obtain a study with a window overlooking the greenery. In the blind and small bathroom, has introduced an exposed shower that allows natural light to enter through a bronze-colored glass wall.
The pool has undergone a restyling with more contemporary lines, the green has been reconstituted and also been able to create an outdoor bathroom and a bbq area with fixed panoramic sofas.
The neutral colors and the designer furniture with a clean and linear design have made the environments timeless spaces.
