140 sqm

This newly constructed apartment is located in one of the most exclusive areas of Shanghai. The property spans two levels: a 70 sqm floor dedicated to the living area and another 70 sqm floor for the sleeping area. The apartment enjoys an ideal exposure with breathtaking views of Shanghai. The spaces are comfortable and well-designed.
The client, a single fashion influencer, requested an apartment with a superb and elegant touch, featuring gentle lines and neutral colors.
for this apartment, we embraced the concept of curved lines and fluidity in color tones and materials.
DAY AREA |
The entrance features a niche displaying Murano glass animal sculptures, with a hidden shoe rack beneath. The focal point is the sculptural staircase, resting on a solid marble base with bronze and brown veins, matching the marble throughout the house. We integrated a spacious and elegant kitchen, blending traditional Chinese and Western elements. This kitchen features marble countertops, champagne-colored lacquered cabinets, and shelves that create a silent sculpture. Two sliding doors from Rimadesio, a renowned Italian brand close the kitchen, allowing a glimpse through glass panels with silk fabric.
The entrance features a focal point with a niche displaying Murano glass animal sculptures, with a hidden shoe rack beneath. The observer’s attention is undoubtedly captured by the sculptural staircase, resting on a solid marble base with bronze and brown veins, the same marble found throughout the house. We also integrated a fusion between a Chinese and Western kitchen. Breaking the traditional setup of Chinese homes, which typically have small kitchens for elaborate food preparation (Chinese kitchen) and show-off kitchens (Western kitchen) for daytime use, we merged both types to optimize space and combine functionality with aesthetics. The result is a spacious and elegant kitchen with marble countertops, champagne-colored lacquered cabinets, and shelves that create a silent sculpture. Two sliding doors from a famous Italian brand close the kitchen, but allow a glimpse through glass panels with silk fabric.
The tour continues with a powder room and an incredible living area: the dining area features a system of cabinets that make the house’s surfaces curvilinear. To reinforce the concept of curves, we selected made-in-Italy furniture, including extraordinary tables, chairs, and lighting. The sofa area is the most beautiful, with a large curved sofa that matches the room’s circular layout and a projector for a cinema wall.
NIGHT AREA | Climbing the scenic stairs leads to the most private part of the house, where we find a custom-designed study with glass and marble, an incredible bathroom dominated by marble, a spacious walk-in wardrobe for the client’s enviable clothing collection, and finally, a bedroom with a round bed, emphasizing the concept of the entire property.

This project is one of our favorites. We provided the client with a new vision of space livability, studying new ways to enhance space in various areas through direct, indirect, and artistic lighting options. We curated a palette of colors, materials, fabrics, decorations, lighting, and artworks to astonish the client's visiting friends. The refinement and selection of furniture and art pieces have allowed us to elevate and make this space superb.
