400 sqm

This villa in Phuket, Thailand, was commissioned by a young German couple. The villa covers 400 sqm and is designed entirely on one floor.
The family, consisting of a husband, wife, and their lively child H., wanted large, bright spaces for entertaining friends, a professional kitchen with an island and peninsula seating for 10, a swimming pool, and a guest room. Each room was to have an en-suite bathroom, along with an additional guest bathroom. They also requested smart integration of a 2×2 m bathtub.
The villa features a 100 sqm living room that welcomes guests. We focused on creating stunning perspective views. The entrance is through a double door leading to a majestic round table with a designer chandelier. To the right, an elegant sofa and armchair arrangement with Italian furniture; to the left, a large professional kitchen with English finishes and German appliances. The living area also includes a guest bathroom designed by us, storage rooms, a wine cellar, and a laundry room.
This entire area enjoys an open view through a doors system offering a fantastic view of the terrace and garden with a swimming pool. The remaining space houses three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms: a guest room on the left wing with garden views, and on the right wing, the master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The master bathroom includes a 2×2 m bathtub with an exterior window that doubles as a cinema screen. Little H.’s bedroom, designed for fun, includes a play corner and private bathroom.
The exterior features a large Thai-style roof covering the terrace, illuminated at night with fiber optic lights embedded in the teak wood. The 5×15 m swimming pool includes a solarium for safe play, a swimming pool swim jet system, a whirlpool, a scenic fountain, and an underwater swimming pool lights, firefly effect. The villa is surrounded by tropical plants and evergreen flowers.

This project gained us popularity in Phuket by merging local and international modern architecture and creating a deep dialogue between Italian and Thai design.
