70 sqm

The 70 sqm flat suffers from cramped spaces and poorly placed partitions, creating narrow corridors and limiting natural light. With two south-facing French windows offering sea views, the layout includes an entrance hall, two bedrooms with balconies, a small laundry room, and a kitchen and bathroom overlooking an inner courtyard—resulting in an inefficient and poorly lit space.
The client needed the flat to function as both a home and a workspace. The entrance had to be welcoming and representative of her communication agency, and the space needed to be flexible enough to live in and entertain friends after working hours.
We transformed this project to improve its appearance and livability, fully meeting and exceeding the client’s demands. Here’s what we did:
REORGANIZED LAYOUT | We demolished the partitions creating narrow spaces and corridors, opening up a huge space with beautiful light and a breathtaking sea view where the bedrooms used to be.
WORKSPACE INTEGRATION | We created a representative space for the client’s business with a large table and a wardrobe system that hides all equipment and work documents for a well-organized space. The central pillar now features the client’s business brand logo and serves as a storage element for sliding doors that separate the work/dining space from the living room.
The refinement and selection of furniture and art pieces have allowed us to elevate and make this space superb. This project stands out for its innovative reconfiguration and the use of warm materials in eye-catching colors like olive green and strawberry red, complemented by olive green mirrors and linen-colored hues throughout the house. We are proud of the solutions adopted to balance the duality of workspace and private life.

I love everything about this project. We turned the layout upside down and created a little gem that overlooks a wonderful view of Acicastello, Sicily. Olive green and strawberry red are the touches that characterise the apartment.
